Early Venture Portfolio: Investing in Promising Startups

At our studio, we didn't just build incredible software solutions in the early years; we also had a keen eye for promising startups and invested in the creation of some promising ideas.  Our portfolio included companies that align with our values, where we made investments during their Pre-Seed and Seed stages.

Take a look at some of the ventures we were involved in:

Gorilla Space (2017):

In 2017, we invested in Gorilla Space, a groundbreaking commercial property and workspace solutions marketplace based in Singapore. During our collaboration, we undertook the task of rebuilding the platform and offered technical guidance to ensure its success. As a result of our collective efforts, we achieved a significant milestone in 2018 when we successfully concluded our involvement just before the subsequent funding round. Slipztream (2017):

We made an investment in Slipztream, a platform that transforms the management of receipts and submission of claims for personal expenses. Our involvement and guidance during the early stages played a pivotal role in shaping this solution for the corporate market. After two years of partnership, we concluded our investment in 2020. MyPerks (2018):

We also partnered with two founders in MyPerks, a B2B subscription platform that empowers companies to provide valuable perks to their employees that might otherwise be unaffordable. We remained actively engaged in their journey, and our strategic support significantly contributed to their success. Ultimately, we successfully exited our involvement in 2021.

As our current focus lies with our family office, angel investments, is not our primary area of focus at the moment.

These initial experiences provided us with invaluable insights on how to invest in startups effectively and helped us identify our preferred investment style and approach to working with them.
